  • The Member is an independent contractor & not an employee of the California Collegiate Softball Umpires Association, nor any conferences where they may officiate.
  • The membership is for the period of enrollment through the college season ending June 2025, however your NASO Insurance runs for the calendar year Jan 1 through Dec 31. You will still continue to access all CCSUA trainings in the off season as a paid member.
  • The Member understands that he/she will be solely responsible to file all tax returns and payments required of any Federal or State authority with respect to the member’s performance or services.
  • Membership in the California Collegiate Softball Umpires Association provides training and information updates for NCAA & NAIA college softball rules and mechanics.   Membership does not guarantee that the member will be assigned to softball games.  Each Member must apply for and qualify to officiate in college conferences.
